Ad Muncher blocks many nasties on the net, such as scripts that track your browsing habits or try to install spyware, adware and dialers.

Fine program but also make it to block unwanted automatic site redirections in certain websites. Have a list of certain kinds of ads by legitimate and popular companies and provide the option to selectively turn on or turn off it as not all ads are b

In regards to automatic redirections, please submit examples when you find these to our support page and we'll investigate further.

Regarding individual advertising companies, this is an interesting idea that we will be considering further.

Eliminate unwanted ad/script/image easily

Instead of the current right click block images, or manual addition in filters, there could perhaps be a drop box like download managers where one can drop unwanted images. In addition, perhaps some sort of integration into chrome or other...

Unfortunately a lot of the memory usage in Ad Muncher is the result of third-party DLLs, for example Winsock, which is used very heavily by necessity. Typically Ad Muncher should show a usage of under 10MB, which I don't think is very much for today's systems. If you're showing significantly more usage than this please contact us.

Upload AdMuncher Statistics to AdMuncher "Cloud"

Perhaps during a signature update - having the number of Adverts removed, Bandwidth Saved, and Counter date - being "backed up" to AdMuncher Server - so a PC Rebuild/Crash doesn't require a restart from zero.

Ad Muncher used to do something like this but people objected to what they saw as a privacy invasion by the (anonymous) numbers being sent to our server.

It's probably worth considering again if enough people take an interest. I'd certainly enjoy it for my stats.

Be able to set filters that only would be enabled for a specific web site or program and be able to exclude a web site or program from a filter’s influence.

You could create complex filters that would not interfere the whole surf experience. For example, I want to remove some web content from my web email account because my emails are displayed at the bottom of the web page and I have to scroll down...

Improve the Default filters removal of Ads from no English websites.

And/or be able to import/convert Adblock Plus filters to deal with this issue. I suppose that we could report the conflictive web sites to developers of Ad Muncher, but when the sites are updated the problem reappear or sometimes even Ad Muncher...

Improve the “Replace Text” module.

It has problems with non English characters and accented letters (ñ, á). Sometimes it does not work because of this issue and others because it does not want to do so. By now I can resolve those problems by replacing some part of the conflictive...

Add timestamps in the logfile. This would help in deciding if we need to make an exception to whatever rule is currently blocking a website... it would be helpful to see when what site/ad/whatever was blocked to help websurfing be smoother, and chang

I like this program. Starting my webbrowser has NEVER been so quick (I have way to many tabs open as standard, and the blocking Ad Muncher did did seriously improve startup time). However, I noticed some other programs that seemed to be blocked...

An optional Ad muncher toolbar for Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome with a Hunting mode button on it. (Drag the button over the image, flash or whatever you see on a web page but you do not know how to tell Ad Muncher to block it.)

Some times and more over within inexpert Ad Muncher users it is difficult to select the Ad or content that you want to block. How to remove flash files? When right clicking on them there is no Ad Muncher menu. How to remove script content?

Monitor adverts in programs that arn't supported, for example - ad muncher does not remove spotify adverts, and misses a few external programs for me like windows live messenger.

Be able to remove table cells individually and not only the whole table.

Some times the unwanted Ads are inside a table with good content and always in the same cell. My Filters only has "Remove table with text" option to deal with this issue.
